Nissan R35 GT-R Black Edition, NZ-delivered, 467kW, called 29 Sep 2026.
Published before the hammer on 29 Sep 2026, and it will be graded against whatever the car makes. Nothing below is edited once a result is known.
A 2008 Nissan R35 GT-R Black Edition running on Collecting Cars out of Melbourne, Victoria — Titanium over black with an Alcantara-covered dash, 110,500 kilometres, VIN 7AT0DH8EX09002354, a Japanese-specification car imported by Nissan New Zealand as its only pre-release promotional GT-R, sold through City Nissan Takapuna in December 2009, imported here in 2025 and registered in Victoria after a roadworthy. 467 kilowatts at the wheels on 98 through an EcuTek speed-density calibration by PowerLabs, on ST Hitec rebuilt and uprated factory-frame turbos, EBA inlets, Xspurt 1000cc injectors, a dual-pump fuel system, Fenix radiator and intercooler, GReddy exhaust and downpipes, catch cans and uprated sway bars; a July 2024 dyno sheet reads 480.7 kilowatts and 772Nm.
Was fitted by Dodson Motorsport at 75,070 kilometres after a lubrication solenoid failed, on a NZ$13,000 invoice, and ST Hitec did NZ$21,900 of work at about 104,000 kilometres including a timing-chain kit and water pump. 20-inch Work CR wheels on Pilot Sport 4S, a Zele carbon lip and carbon skirts, the passenger skirt cracked. Rear bumper resprayed in 2024, a small bubble under the passenger mirror, stone chips, ceramic coated. The original intake arms, engine cover, blow-off valves and exhaust come with it, with two keys, the pouch, manuals, spline socket and the full file. Serviced September 2026 at 110,240 kilometres. 1,060 views and 71 saves when called.
The August import made $80,000; Nunawading was bid to $76,500 and did not clear; Willawong and Maitland ended without appearing in the sold results. The Heathwood widebody called on 18 September has no result here yet. This one's changes are under the skin rather than on it.
Plus 0.3 for 110,500 kilometres against the 112,500 expected of a 2008, minus 6 for the year, minus 6 for a New Zealand import, which is this record's own measurement for an import rather than the twelve the import row charges, minus 6 for the turbos and tune, which also forgo the plus 6 a verified standard car earns, plus 6 for a new gearbox with 35,000 kilometres on it, plus 3 for the chain and pump, plus 4 for the file and provenance, minus 3 for the respray, skirt and bubble. Composed, minus 8.2 per cent, and $72,504.
Predicted hammer $56,000 to $92,000, midpoint $72,500.
The GR6 is the part of an R35 that ends ownership, and this one is new and invoiced.
Three of the last four modified or imported R35s did not sell at all.
The call is a prediction of one hammer. The record behind it is the Australian evidence for the model as a whole, and it carries its own grade for how much of that evidence exists.
