A 2001 Honda S2000 Type V running on Collecting Cars out of Perth, Western Australia — Silverstone Metallic over a black cabin with red leather and red carpets, 62,066 kilometres indicated and not warranted, Japan-delivered and now here, VIN 6ZZ1000AP11102888, the F20C on the six-speed manual with Variable Gear Ratio Steering and its model-specific suspension. 16-inch six-spoke forged wheels on Winrun tyres, xenons, the VGS flat-bottom wheel, digital dash, air and an aluminium knob. A Gathers head unit, a front splitter and rear arch spats. Two keys and a remote, the owner's manuals and the Gathers leaflets. The seller says it was serviced recently and passed a Department of Transport inspection; there are no Japanese service books. Company registered. 1,072 views and 78 saves when called; one bidder asked about delivery and import papers.

The model says $55,100 and it is hitting its own cap

This record carries the steepest distance curve in the library, 5.7 per cent per 10,000 kilometres, fitted on six stock Australian results at minus 0.92, and against the 140,000 expected of a 2001 it pays plus 91 per cent for 62,066. The composition caps at plus 45, and a capped figure is a ceiling rather than an estimate.

The call is built off the nearest car instead

A 2003 AP1 at 62,700 kilometres made $50,000 in Perth in June 2026: Australian-delivered, wholly standard, factory Aero package, and platform-verified. Same city, same distance, three months ago. From $50,000: minus 6 for a Japan-delivered car, registered here, which the unregistered import at the bottom of this record's run was not; minus 5 for a distance nobody warrants against one the platform verified; minus 3 for no service books; plus 4 for the Type V and its red cabin; minus 2 for the splitter and spats; minus 2 for no Aero package. Composed, minus 13.5 per cent, and $43,260.

The call is $43,000

Predicted hammer $33,000 to $54,500, midpoint $43,000.

What would put it over

On this record distance is nearly everything, and if the room believes 62,066 kilometres the curve says this car is worth more than the Perth one.

What would put it under

That is the one figure on the page nobody stands behind.

Where this number came from

The call is a prediction of one hammer. The record behind it is the Australian evidence for the model as a whole, and it carries its own grade for how much of that evidence exists.
